Not far from Venice and of absolute interest are the Slovenija and Croatia<\/p>\n

Postojnska jama<\/h2>\n

The caves are open all year round, even on holidays.<\/p>\n

The visit, which includes a ride on the little train and a walk along a path.<\/p>\n

It lasts an hour and a half.<\/p>\n

Each tour is accompanied by guides who provide visitors with an introduction to the beauty of the caves in Italian, English or German.<\/p>\n

Audio guides are also available in 17 languages.<\/p>\n

Travel to Slovenia – Visit<\/strong><\/p>\n

The visit is suitable for everyone, even families with small children or for the disabled.<\/p>\n

The temperature in the caves is constant throughout the year (10\u00b0C).<\/p>\n

They are the only karst caves with a cave railway, built over 140 years ago.<\/p>\n

In the tangle of underground karst tunnels and halls, the unique cave train takes you.<\/p>\n

Skyscraper<\/h2>\n

\"Postojnska_jama\"<\/span><\/p>\n

During the guided tour, which lasts for an hour and a half.<\/p>\n

You can discover important karst features: the largest stalagmite, called the Skyscraper, 16 meters high.<\/p>\n

Tthe symbol of Postojna Cave – the Brilliant White, the oldest post office in the world and the most famous animal – the proteus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Predjama Castle<\/a><\/h2>\n

The mighty Predjama Castle is situated on a 123-meter rock face.<\/p>\n

It is even entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest cave castle in the world.<\/p>\n

Predjama castle was first mentioned in 1274 and was built by the abbots of Aquileia who gave it a Gothic appearance.<\/p>\n

Later it was rebuilt by the new owners of the Luegg family, whose representative was Erasmus of Predjama.<\/p>\n

Travel to Slovenia – Predjama Castle is considered the only castle built in the rock that has been preserved in Europe.<\/h2>\n

With its extraordinary location it offers an insight into the construction techniques and ingenuity of the people of the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n

They sought refuge right near the entrance to the cave.<\/p>\n

\"Predjama<\/p>\n

This manor has already been filmed several times for numerous documentaries and films.<\/p>\n

Ghost Hunters International<\/h2>\n

Among them it is worth mentioning the documentary-reality series of the team of Ghost Hunters.<\/p>\n

As well as the film Armour of God, in which the main actor is the hero of action movies Jackie Chan.<\/p>\n

Inside the castle, visitors can see the restored room in the main attic of the castle.<\/p>\n

Numerous replicas of weapons are on display from spears, halberds, swords, battle hammers, bows, crossbows and armor.<\/p>\n

Lipica<\/a><\/h2>\n

A few kilometers after the Slovenian border, we find Lipiza.<\/p>\n

It’s besides being one of the main sites of interest in the Karst, the estate is among the most important Slovenian monuments.<\/p>\n

A monument that represents not only the breeding of Lipizzaners.<\/p>\n

Bbut that encloses centuries of natural heritage, created by the symbiosis between horse and man.<\/p>\n

The estate satisfies every need: a visit by bicycle, a romantic carriage ride.<\/p>\n

They live and work in an environment that has shaped the character of the most prized breed of horses in the area.<\/p>\n

Their stubbornness and their stubborn resistance to weather conditions, from which the immense beauty of the natural landscape also originates.<\/p>\n
